At Blue Windmill Nursery, we are currently reviewing our fee structure as part of wider improvements to the nursery. A new, fully detailed fee schedule will be published as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we are committed to being open and transparent about our charges and funding options.

Fees vary depending on:

• Session times and attendance pattern
• Funded hours eligibility
• Government Funding

We offer all funded childcare entitlements, including:

• 15 hours funding (universal entitlement for 3–4 year olds)
• 30 hours funding (eligible working families)
• Funded places for eligible 2 year olds
• Expanded funding for children from 9 months (from September 2025 rollout)
• Funded hours are applied in line with government guidance.

Additional Charges

Where applicable, additional charges may apply for:

• Meals and snacks (£9 half day, £15 full day)
• Consumables eg wipes, creams, creative materials (£1.50 half day, £3 full day)
• Optional extras and enrichment activities eg gardening, dance classes (£1 half day, £2 full day)

These will always be clearly explained in advance and we offer All-in packages to reduce these costs.

Our Private Fees (Current Guide)

Where funding does not apply, the following private fees are charged at:

Full day care (0–5 years): £72 per day

Morning / afternoon sessions: £42

The cost of food is included in these fees.
