We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our Blue Windmill families who joined us for our Father’s Day celebration. It was wonderful to see so many parents, siblings and other special family members enjoying the afternoon together in our nursery gardens.
In the days leading up to the event, the children had great fun preparing for the celebration. Across the nursery, they enjoyed baking delicious treats to share with their families, taking part in planting activities and learning through hands-on experiences that encouraged creativity, teamwork and a love of nature.
The celebration itself was filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of energetic parachute games, with children and adults joining in together. It was lovely to see the children proudly showing their families around and sharing the experiences that make nursery such a special place.
At Blue Windmill, we believe that strong partnerships between home and nursery are one of the most important foundations for a child’s learning and wellbeing. Events like these help children see the important adults in their lives working together, creating a real sense of belonging and community.
Thank you once again to everyone who came along and helped make the afternoon such a success. We are incredibly grateful for your continued support and are already looking forward to welcoming our nursery families to many more special events throughout the year.
